What does it take to maintain the Shoto Teien Japanese Garden in Terrace Park year after year? Well it helps if you have someone like Ben Chu, the Horticulture Supervisor for the renowned Japanese Garden at the Missouri Botanic Garden make a special trip to Sioux Falls.  For the over twenty – five years Ben Chu has been coming to our  Shoto Teien Japanese Garden in Terrance Park and work with the Parks Department and volunteers to prune and maintain the garden. Ben’s experience in the field of horticulture makes his annual visits vital to the prosperity of the Japanese Gardens.  Join us Thursday, June 20 from 4:30 – 6:00 pm for this very special SPACES event, meet and learn from this master.
