How do you revitalize neighborhoods, build community, grow healthy food, teach environmental education and create a sense of place? The answer might be just down the street from you in the form of a community garden. On Tuesday, June 25 join us to learn about these unique spaces. Starting at 5:30 pm there will be a presentation at the Ronning Library. Learn about the procedures, pros and cons and identify other community gardens in Sioux Falls. After the presentation there will be a short walk to the Southern Hills Community Garden next to the library for a tour of one of seven of the city’s community gardens.
