Come to our next event at the Sioux Falls Design Center. From exhibits in our DC Gallery to PechaKucha Night an informal night of presentations the SFDC puts on workshops, as well as organizes design competitions, talks, tours, and is a place where designers and the public can hang-out, interact, innovate and create.
Rent our space any day throughout the week for your next client presentation, employee retreat, or company celebration. All rates are subject to a 6.5% sales tax.
Hourly (two-hour minimum): $55/hour
Daytime (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.): $275 total
Evening (5 p.m. - 12 a.m.): $275 total
Full Day (9 a.m. - 12 a.m.): $385 total
Chairs, tables, whiteboards, chalkboards, speakers, microphone, projector, projection screen, and a podium are included in your rental fee. If you require sound equipment unavailable at SFDC, renters will be responsible for organizing extra equipment and hiring a sound technician.

No smoking is allowed inside the space.
Alcohol and containers must remain inside the space.
Groups wishing to serve alcohol must receive permission from the Sioux Falls City Council.
Groups wishing to sell alcohol must purchase a one-day liquor license from the City of Sioux Falls.
Renters are responsible for organizing and cleaning a catered event.
No plastic or Styrofoam dishware is allowed.
Paper plates or biodegradable materials only. Limited dishes and flatware are available at SFDC. Please check with our Director for more information.
If a caterer is providing place settings, please notify them of our restrictions.
Renters must provide proof of liability insurance in the amount of at least $500,000 before a reservation can be finalized. This can be obtained by contacting your homeowners or renters insurance agent.
The Sioux Falls Design Center (SFDC) is a non-profit organization hoping to build connections among diverse people and organizations interested in design in Sioux Falls and South Dakota. The main objective of the SFDC is to build connections in the community that are focused, involved or otherwise interested in design. This includes planners, architects, interior designers, engineers, landscape architects, artists, community leaders, and the greater public.
